What’s New at the Lodge on Loch Lomond
The Covid-19 lockdown has been a challenging time for us all and whilst it has been heartbreaking not to be welcoming guests for the past 4 months we have used the time wisely during the temporary hotel closure to refurbish and enhance our facilities. Our fabulous in-house Maintenance Team have done a remarkable job and delighted to share some of these developments with you.
New Outdoor Patio & evening function Suite to enhance our McMillan Weddings
During the lockdown of 2020 we completed a new outdoor patio to enhance our McMillan Wedding Suite offering and have now added to this with a new evening function space – formerly on the ground floor of our Munro building where the McMillan Suite is located you would find the leisure/swimming pool however we are reaching the final stages of a fabulous redevelopment of this space. Unfortunately this does mean the leisure facilities won’t be available throughout 2021 however we are already working on new and exciting plans for 2022 and beyond and will have further information to share on this soon! In the meantime our McMillan Suite Weddings will now have a seamless timeline to their Wedding Day with our upstairs Suite hosting the early part of the day and the new downstairs Suite hosting the evening/party aspect.
Bedroom refurbishment for our Grahams
Our Classic Graham rooms have now been transformed with the same decorative finish as our other room types. The décor inspired by the colours of the landscape outside – soft heathers/greys are featured within the soft furnishings and high end furniture completes the new look.
New Glass Balconies – Munro bedrooms
The positive response to our glass balconies for our Corbett rooms inspired us to roll out the same finish for our Munro bedrooms, they now have frosted glass panels separating each room and the clear glass front allows for those uninterrupted views and vistas. New composite decking finishes the look.
Beach Food & Bar Area
With the recent Government announcements relative to reopening hospitality and perhaps those initial weeks/months seeing only outside service of alcohol we have quickly developed some plans to convert our ground floor storage area that leads to Luss Beach into a Beach Food & Bar Service Area, weather permitting this will hopefully make for a more streamlined customer experience outside – so a light selection of food & drinks will be accessible from the Beach rather than having to order/be brought out from the main hotel.
