A fantastic event which works brilliantly in the Glen Luss Suite and car park at The Lodge on Loch Lomond hotel, with the backdrop of the loch!
The Pitch – Teams have 20mins to create a pitch which they must deliver to potential sponsors, detailing their motorsport team name, logo, strapline, branding, sponsorship package and associated benefits…
The Build - Teams are awarded funds based on the strength of their pitch which they must use to purchase “high-tech” materials to be used in the build of their formula fun race cart. Teams must use those high tech materials - cardboard, foam, tinfoil, cable ties etc - to turn their pedal karts into slick, stylish formula fun racers!
The Race - Full safety briefing, followed by “qualifying”, a practice session when everyone get a shot, and then teams must nominate their fastest drivers to compete. It is then a team endurance format with each driver completing a set number of laps of our track before handing over to their next team member. The race is always a brilliant spectacle with lots of hilarity and team spirit!
Our unique spin on this classic team building challenge – it works perfectly using the Glen Luss suite and the beach at the front of The Lodge on Loch Lomond Hotel.
The Pitch – Teams have 20mins to create a pitch detailing their team identity, logo and motto incorporated into the huge flag that will fly from their raft. They must deliver this pitch to our judging panel, in front of the other teams – always a really funny part of the event. The Build – On top of the standard equipment, based on the strength of their pitch, teams are awarded extra materials to be used in the build of their raft (mainly for decoration purposes!). On completion of the build team members are each equipped with full safety gear; wet suit, helmet and life jacket.
The Race - Full safety briefing, followed by a practice session in the water for teams to test their rafts. Under the watchful eye of two safety boats manned with life guards teams will compete in a race taking them 150mtrs from shore, in the sheltered water of Luss bay, around a buoy and back again. The speed of the raft undoubtedly comes down to effective team work and communication!
The best way to discover the incredible landscape around Loch Lomond is undoubtedly by speedboat. Luckily we have access to 10 fantastic new speedboats and we love to create interesting programs, collecting your party from the jetty at The Lodge on Loch Lomond for your speedboat adventure.
Our speedboat tour guides will show you the very best parts of the loch; you’ll enjoy the thrill of speed in open water and cruise slowly in the tranquil areas among the islands, discovering the wonderful landscape of the Loch and the surrounding mountains. Along the way we can arrange all sorts of exciting action – stop at a unique pub on an island for drinks, or stop at one of the idyllic beaches on the enchanted island of Inchcailloch, where you’ll witness an ambush with our Clan Warriors, and a fascinating interactive ancient kilt and weapons demo.
It's all about chatting with you and creating a program that fits with your tastes and budget. Get in touch to see what we can do for you!
A seriously thrilling event – think 4x4’s, speedboats, remote islands, bond girls and international crime lords!
Our very own 007 delivers the full multimedia briefing with a short movie on the big screen. Each team gets a chauffeur driven Land Rover Defender, challenge sheets, brief case, digital camera and lots of funny themed props.
The mission is on to track down the bond girls (character actresses) and gather crucial information to foil the international crime lord’s plan - the challenge takes a remarkable twist, with the teams whisked away by speedboat to a remote island on Loch Lomond, before continuing on for debrief drinks at the pub on the island of Inchmurrin…Teams must work together to complete our problem solving challenges and hilarious photo challenges, in order to be in with a shout of winning the event!
Teams arrive back to The Lodge on Loch Lomond by speedboat where we have a prize giving with the hilarious images shown on the big screen and the chance to meet the actors and actresses!
Guests will be collected from The Lodge on Loch Lomond by up to 12 Land Rover’s for a superb off road driving experience on our exclusive off road driving range, which is less than 5 minutes drive away. This is a fantastic session where everyone will have at least 20mins behind the wheel learning to tackle increasingly progressive terrain, climbing the hills for some great views across Loch Lomond. At the top of the hill the vehicles will all stop together for a bit of chat and the chance for a wee dram! There is usually lots of wildlife to be seen on the tour, often spotting deer and birds of prey. Guests should come prepared with warm and waterproof outdoor clothing, as if going walking for the day.
A superb team building challenge; think Ready, Steady, Cook meets The Apprentice! Teams have fully equipped cookery stations, competing head to head to create their restaurant concept, brand, marketing campaign and 2 signature dishes!
The event is hosted by Colin Bussey, ex-executive head chef at Gleneagles, and ex-director of food and beverages at Cameron House, to name just two of his many high profile roles. Colin now runs a very successful business consultancy for restaurateurs and food manufacturers. Together we have created this fantastic team challenge event; develop your restaurant brand, strategy and marketing, pitch your ideas, and after Colin’s fantastic demos and tuition, compete against the other teams to create your signature dishes for judging. The event focuses on team work and communication, creates fantastic shared memories and a lasting buzz about your workplace.
Teams start by creating their clan identity, crest and war cry which they present theatrically in front of the other clans (always a great fun start to the event which really galvanizes the teams). Then the clans are rotated around 6 – 8 of our superb themed challenges including…Ancient Highland Dress & Weaponry – our authentic clan warriors (extras from Braveheart & Outlander) demonstrate getting kitted up in ancient highland dress and weapons before the clans work together against the clock to get each other battle ready!
Tribal Clan Drums – our Scottish tribal clan drummer leads the session with teams being taught to work in unison to create the rhythms of battle – this creates a superb atmosphere for the whole event! Highland Sword Dance – our world champion Highland dancer leads the session with clans create their own performance – always hilarious. Scottish Delacacies – our expert tutor chef from Cook School Scotland creates an outstanding array of Scottish delicacies that Clan Warriors may have indulged in after battle, which the clans must emulate against the clock.
The heavy athletics of the highland games, designed to keep clan warriors strong and ready for battle, are instantly recognised the world over! We’ve created a brilliant team building challenge with some of the iconic traditional pursuits, and some really good fun adaptations of them…
• Caber Toss
• The Highland Fling Challenge (with piper and dancer)
• Nessies Footprints
• Throwing the Welly,
• The Crazy Highlander
• Pitch Forking
