The Lodge on Loch Lomond offers serene sanctuary on the illustrious Bonnie Banks

The 4 star Lodge on Loch Lomond lies on the West banks of the eponymous Loch. When I say it lies on the banks, read that as literal – the Lodge has a private beach, jetty and has rooms with uninterrupted vistas of the water.

After making the long trip west I was glad to check in and unwind. I was booked for a night in one of the recently refurbished 2 bedroom Cuillen suites. The suite certainly did not lack in wow factor, both inside and out.
